Revanth reddy, the chief minister of telangana, referred to the Union Budget as the "Kurchi Bachao Budget," implying that Modi Sarkar had given money to the states of andhra pradesh and bihar just to appease his friends, the tdp and JDU. revanth reddy attacked the Union Budget 2024–25, accusing Modi Sarkar of having a personal grudge against the state of Telangana. The chief minister of telangana questioned why telangana received no funding in the Union Budget but andhra pradesh received large allocations, given that the ap Reorganisation Act applies to both telugu states.

"I have personally discussed several Telangana-related problems with prime minister Modi three times. Maintaining the relationship between the Centre and the State, I have regard for PM Modi as an elder brother. However, he has ignored all of our kind gestures and revealed his true self," revanth reddy added, accusing PM Modi of having a personal grudge against Telangana.

It appears that telangana is not a part of PM Modi's Vikasit Bharat plan. In the Budget, the Centre did not want to use the phrase "Telangana" at all. It was unexpected that Modi Sarkar harboured such strong animosity for Telangana. telangana is where the bjp wants seats and votes, but it is not concerned with the advancement of the state. PM Modi devised a quid pro quo budget in order to save his job. "This Budget is a Kurchi Bachao Budget," revanth reddy remarked, criticising Modi Sarkar for his disregard for Telangana.

Congress MPs would protest in Parliament, according to revanth reddy, for excluding telangana from the Union Budget. He invited telangana bjp MPs to join them. telangana chief minister revanth reddy also chastised Union minister of Mines and Coal g kishan reddy for not securing Telangana's share of the Union Budget. "Kishan Reddy's submissive attitude and silence are causing telangana to be neglected." revanth reddy insisted that kishan reddy resign, saying, "Why should kishan reddy continue in Union cabinet when Centre did not allocate any funds for Telangana?"
