One of the best actors and people from the South is Suriya. The performer has given some of the best roles. He has frequently conveyed his unique affection for the telugu audience. Today is the actor's birthday, and news about his next flicks has been pouring in. Although Suriya was in negotiations to do a telugu film directly, the project was never completed. 

Suriya was impressed by a storyline written by boyapati srinu, however the movie was shelved at the last minute. Suriya has met a number of telugu filmmakers and producers, but so far he hasn't been pleased by any of the ideas or the screenplay. The Dream Warrior Pictures of SR Prabhu and Studio Green of KE Gnanavelraja are searching for a telugu director and a story for Suriya.

UV Creations is also searching for Suriya and is hoping he signs a straight telugu movie soon. Kanguva, his next movie, will be released on october 10th during the dasara holiday season. karthik Subbaraj and Suriya are collaborating on a mass action movie for his upcoming project. Suriya is fondly called as the adopted son of andhra pradesh and Telangana.
