Working president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), KT Rama Rao (KTR), blasted the central nda government led by the bharatiya janata party (BJP) for failing to include funding for hyderabad Metro rail in the Union Budget 2024, "despite telangana blessing the bjp with mp seats."

"The bjp has been receiving mp seats from telangana, but at what cost? Even in the most recent budget, the BJP-led nda government has not approved a single dollar for the extension of the hyderabad Metro rail, despite telangana providing the bjp with eight MPs during its difficult times. Over the past ten years, the bjp administration has financed twenty metro rail projects nationwide despite our repeated requests for action to the Union government.

On Tuesday, he had already declared that telangana had received a harsh deal in the Union Budget once more.

In response to the Budget 2024–25, he claimed that while they had anticipated telugu daughter-in-law nirmala sitharaman would provide telangana a sizable amount of money, the state received nothing.

"Just a few states benefited greatly, despite the budget exceeding Rs 48 lakh crore. KTR, the common name for Rama Rao, expressed disappointment that telangana was left out of the whole budget, saying that the state's residents have to consider what occurred when they awarded national parties like the bjp and congress 16 seats.
