As the State Assembly's budget discussion got underway on Saturday, a verbal spat broke out between the Treasury benches and the main opposition party, BRS. The government benches claimed that the BRS was deceiving the house with false claims and data, causing disruptions, while the opposition criticized the budget for being unrealistic.

Chief minister A revanth reddy and senior BRS member T harish rao engaged in a contentious argument about the State's financial situation at the assembly. harish rao asserted that the previous administration had developed the State in all areas and that the congress was attempting to tarnish it with untrue allegations, while the chief minister held the previous BRS government responsible for the current state of the State finances.

The chief minister, Ministers, and other Congressmen repeatedly interrupted Harish Rao's address. harish rao once lost his temper and called minister of Roads and Building Komatireddy venkat Reddy a "person with half knowledge." Members of the ruling party in the house were outraged by the comment and pushed the Speaker to have it removed from the Assembly's records.

When harish rao made disparaging remarks against the chief minister, congress members strongly objected and caused a stir. Every time Harish Rao's microphone was turned off, the BRS members hurried to the stage to ask the Speaker to let one of their members speak. The Speaker forbade the BRS from displaying placards with the congress manifesto in the house, and the marshals removed them.
