The world is becoming a more competitive place every day, and our susceptibility to disappointment increases as we set higher goals for ourselves. However, indians refuse to let up, and their bizarre fixation with becoming the greatest is also ingrained in their children. It makes sense that indian parents like boasting about the accomplishments of their children. There are moments when it becomes more about them than the children.
 A video with many children competing to solve arithmetic problems using abacus and mental maths is making the rounds on the internet. There are now grave worries about what parents are exposing their kids to after watching the video. Many of these children are unable to learn the most significant parts of life because of the extreme pressure—or rather, torture—that they are subjected to for the sake of their parents. Imagine dedicating your entire life to an endeavour with a success rate of less than 1%.
 
Since they were never let to view this world in the first place, they become little children who don't know how to deal with it. It is foolish to be teaching your own kids how to calculate when you might have been teaching them how to think critically. Perhaps, though, they are missing that because of the hustling culture of today, which resembles corporate enslavement.
