Three would-be civil officials died on saturday after getting trapped in a flooded tutoring center's basement in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. According to the police, the delhi fire department launched a rescue operation at approximately 7 o'clock in the evening after learning of waterlogging at the Rao IAS Study Center. In relation to the pupils' deaths, the authorities have initiated a criminal case.

Here are the most recent events regarding the private tutoring incident in Delhi:

During the initial rescue attempt, the local police, fire department, and NDRF removed the body of a female student from the site. Two more students' remains were discovered a few hours later.

According to the authorities, the coaching center was filled with about thirty students when it began to flood. Some managed to flee the scene, but 13 or 14 of them were saved and brought to the hospital.

Five fire engines arrived at the scene after learning about the flooding, according to fire Officer Atul Garg.

According to DCP Central M Harshavardhan, rescue efforts were still ongoing and the water was being pumped out. "There is still about seven feet of water in the basement," he said to the news agency ANI. However, the officials announced that there is just one more search cycle left, indicating that the rescue effort is coming to an end.

The MCD Commissioner has been instructed by delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi to take stern measures against coaching centers operating in the city that fall within the MCD's purview and do business in basements that are not compliant with building codes. She further stated that a prompt investigation will be carried out to see whether any MCD officers are accountable for this tragedy. She also stated that the strictest measures must be taken against any official found guilty.

A group of students demonstrated at the location against the Municipal Corporation of delhi (MCD) after the remains of the three students were recovered. Early on Sunday, students were seen brandishing placards that read, "We want justice." A child mentioned that the center floods after 10 minutes of rain. "80% of the library is housed in the basements of the coaching center...According to the student, MCD took no action in this area.

The police warned students against participating in the protest, though, as it might complicate rescue efforts. "I ask that the student body refrain from coming here and interfering with the rescue efforts. While we sympathize with their suffering, traveling to this location is not the answer. Rescue operations will be hampered, according to DCP Central, M. Harshavardhan.

Two persons have been taken into custody and a criminal case has been filed by the delhi police. The DCP declared that the police were committed to learning the truth about the horrific event that claimed the lives of three people. We've filed a criminal complaint. We have forensic teams available. Forensic evidence gathering is now under place. We firmly believe that a thorough examination is necessary. "We are dedicated to establishing a compelling case and obtaining the truth," he declared.
