UPSC candidates death: coaching owner detained...

The ruling aam aadmi party (AAP) was held accountable by the bharatiya janata party (BJP) on sunday for the drowning deaths of three civil services candidates in the waterlogged basement of their coaching institute in Old Rajinder Nagar, Delhi. Virendra Sachdeva, the head of the delhi bjp, called the incident murderous.  

"This is a murder, not an event. Though they come to delhi to shape their future, students have fallen prey to corruption. No one is explaining how the underground library came to be. The government of delhi opened an investigation into an incident that occurred in Mukherjee Nagar. How is the investigation coming along? Atishi, the minister for delhi, is still not there. The residents requested that the drainage be cleaned. 

"Although the flood has now subsided, it is enough... Since this is a wholly illegal operation, the officials involved should face severe consequences. Even if the drain was de-silted, an investigation should be conducted, and if someone is found to be at fault, harsh measures should be implemented. The 15-year bjp rule in delhi is the reason behind the collapse of the drainage infrastructure. We have been working on the drains for the past year, but I don't want to assign blame; instead, I want it looked into and the person(s) who is/are responsible for it to face severe consequences "said the man. Devender Yadav, president of the delhi Congress, stated that the delhi government has shown itself to be an utter failure.

"Although I don't want to politicize this whole thing, we must acknowledge that the delhi administration is now failing miserably. It is unable to supply water, and there is waterlogging. Who gave permission to manage the subterranean institute? This warrants our attention. kejriwal ji has to keep writing letters to keep his job, but we also need to consider the state of delhi right now. His ministers are powerless in this day and age. The minister, who was supposed to arrive at the location right away, has not yet done so. As we have stated, an all-party meeting should be called, talks should take place, and solutions to these issues should be discovered if they are unable to manage the government. "A few hours of sympathy won't be enough to finish the work," he stated.
