Ulaganayagan Awards are currently being given to kamal haasan for his great work in indian 2 and his portrayal as supreme Yaskin in kalki 2898 AD. Conversely, shruti haasan is getting ready for her upcoming film, Dacoit, which she is doing with Adivi Sesh. She shared a picture of herself and her father, kamal haasan, on Instagram. 

The picture, which was posted on instagram stories, showed the two of them conversing deeply while wearing distinctive outfits. shruti is seen looking lovingly at her father while wearing a flowery dress, while Kamal Hassan, wearing a chic white shirt with black accents, has a serious expression as he stares straight at the camera.

According to reports, shruti Hassan will be singing one of the four songs for Vijay Sethupathi's next tamil film Train. After working together on S. P. Jananathan's 2021 tamil action drama Laabam, which was helmed by Mysskin, they are now collaborating once more. Last but not least, Shruthi acted in Prashanth Neel's telugu action thriller Salaar: Part 1—Ceasefire. She stars in Salaar Part 2, which is slated for release in april 2025. After that, she will make her directorial debut in Dacoit. Additionally, a recent social media post hinted to her involvement in Thalaivar Rajinikanth and lokesh Kanagaraj's lavish film Coolie.
 
Kamal Haasan is having a very different time in his career as a filmmaker. He won praise for his performance in the science fiction dystopian film kalki 2898 AD directed by Nag Ashwin. But despite being his most anticipated release to date, indian 2 received mixed reviews and only made Rs 68 Crs in six days at the box office.
 
The legendary actor's next project is the Mani Ratnam-directed mafia action movie Thug Life. Kamal is a co-producer and a performer in this movie. Silambarasan, trisha krishnan, Joju George, Nassar, aishwarya Lekshmi, Sanya Malhotra, ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, and others are among the other actors involved. Following the release of their cult hit Nayakan in 1987, Haasan and Ratnam reunited on Thug Life. It is scheduled for release in the latter part of 2024. While they each go about their own separate lives, viewers are enthralled with the endearing relationship between Kamal and shruti haasan both on and off film.
