14 carriages of Howrah-Mumbai Express train derailed...

Early on Tuesday, a passenger train traveling from Howrah to mumbai derailed, injuring at least five or six persons with minor injuries. The event happened between Rajkharswan West Outer and Barabamboo, close to the Charadharpur division of Jharkhand, at approximately 3:43 in the morning. First assistance has been administered to each injured passenger, according to officials. Initial reports indicated that 14 of the train's carriages had derailed. According to railroad officials, the event happened when a passenger train approaching from the opposite side was struck by a derailing freight train arriving from the opposite side.

As of right moment, the Railways have not classified the event as major.

Investigations are still being conducted further.

According to reports, the accident scene is currently hosting rescue operations. The indian Railways issued an official statement stating, "Train No. 12810 Howara-CSMT Express has derailed near Chakradharpur, between Rajkharswan West Outer and Barabamboo in Chakradharpur division." "ARME on site with staff and ADRM CKP. There are six injured people. The Railway medical staff has administered first aid to everyone," it stated.
