AIMIM Floor leader akbaruddin owaisi, who has been critical of the congress government for failing to maintain peace and order in the State, threatened to initiate a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the police for their escalating abuses of the general public.

In Old City, the cops were using lathi charges. During Monday's assembly debate on grant requests, he stated that private workers going home were not being spared and that even those going to hospitals were being interrogated.

The purpose of task forces is to apprehend offenders and manage criminal activity. "The Taskforce in hyderabad is sleeping in the morning and using 'danda' on common people at night," said Akbaruddin Owaisi.

Members of AIMIM fired back, asking Congressmen to take up their seats, as they attempted to object to his statements. The AIMIM Floor leader continued his diatribe against the congress administration by stating that there had been a sharp rise in homicides and that the crime rate had gone up significantly.

Akbaruddin Owaisi answered, "GHMC elections are fast approaching. I am trying to explain a few things to you (Congress members); the rest is up to you."

The AIMIM Floor leader urged that the State government remove the word "prohibition" from the name of the Prohibition and Excise agency, citing widespread consumption of marijuana, narcotics, and alcohol.

"The State needs to implement total prohibition. According to akbaruddin owaisi, "It is leading to an increased crime rate and abuse against women."

Akbaruddin Owaisi further criticized the congress administration for not providing any funding to the Gajwel Area Development Authority, which was established by the previous administration, and for granting Rs. 120 crores to the kodangal Development Authority.

"I hope chief minister A revanth reddy will be liberal in allocating funds for legislators to take up development and welfare programs in their constituencies, regardless of their party affiliations," the speaker stated.

The union government's new criminal legislation, according to the AIMIM Floor leader, also limit civil freedoms. "The telangana government should not enact these restrictions, according to a resolution passed by the House. akbaruddin owaisi remarked, "I hope the Opposition will support my demand." Former minister T harish rao responded right away, pledging to back the AIMIM leader's plea.
