The rivalry between fans of tamil and telugu films on twitter is a long-standing custom in the South indian community. The problem stems from either mahesh babu followers or Thalapathy Vijay fans fighting with Pawan Kalyan's fans. With Vijay followers and certain tamil fans in general disparaging Pawan Kalyan's Kushi, the feud has erupted once more. They claim that Pawan's performance in kushi pales in comparison to Vijay's.
 
The argument about the quality of tamil and telugu film has now escalated to this stage. telugu moviegoers are responding by saying that "Sambar" (a jab at tamil Nadu's sambar culture) fans are engrossed in the oppressive storylines of their films and that they are not commercially viable. It should be mentioned that telugu cinema dominates the tamil film industry in terms of market share. Telugu film is light years ahead of tamil cinema, which is striving to reach the Rs 500 crore revenue mark. The market and its scope are self-evident. The issue should essentially end here since telugu cinema has had a very different reaction than tamil movie at the worldwide box office. Similarly, pawan kalyan is no match for Vijay's style and charisma and Vijay is miles ahead. There's no need in continuing this.
