Bhopal is set to witness the launch of six new flight services by the end of october 2024. air india has formally requested raja Bhoj international airport authorities to allocate slots for flights destined for Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. Airline officials confirmed that proposals for the new routes have been submitted, alongside demands for necessary slots. These flights are intended to connect bhopal with major metropolitan cities across the country.There is a strong likelihood that the new flights will commence operations from october onwards. indigo announced plans to initiate flights by the end of october, having already requested the necessary slots. Additionally, it is anticipated that other airlines may soon follow suit with similar proposals.
POTENTIAL SLOTTING ISSUES FOR NEW FLIGHTS

With four flights already operated by air india and an expected three to four flights from other airlines, the total number of flights could reach 27.
