Box office receipts for Deadpool and Wolverine on day five: After releasing in theatres on July 26, the hollywood production has already shattered several box office records, including the largest opening worldwide since Avatar: The Way of Water. Nevertheless, the movie's success in india has slowed down; according to a recent Sacnilk.com report, Deadpool & Wolverine has made an estimated ₹78.9 crore nett thus far.

Following an amazing ₹21 crore opening on Friday, Deadpool & Wolverine, which stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as two of Marvel's greatest superheroes, has been losing steam at the indian box office. The movie performed much better over the weekend, taking in ₹22.65 crore nett on saturday and ₹22.3 crore nett on Sunday.


But following a fantastic opening weekend, the movie had a sharp decline on its first Monday, taking in ₹6.75 crore net in India. It generated an estimated ₹6.25 crore on Tuesday, bringing its five-day total in india to around ₹78.95 crore nett.

Hugh Jackman, who had given up on playing Wolverine following 2017's Logan, was able to reprise the role thanks to the movie. He not only makes a comeback as the most well-liked X-Man, but he also dons the recognisable yellow and blue outfit from the comic books for the first time ever in a live-action film.
