She is a girl's girl, this heroine. Speaking with her is like conversing with a confident friend who has learned to face life's ups and downs with a monastic calm that can only be attained from experience. She has been riding the pan-India wave for a while now
Yes, we are talking about Raashii Khanna! In a candid chat, she said, "I think the distinctions between the North and the South will ultimately become less distinct after working on films like Yodha and Farzi and anticipating more films like The Sabarmati Report starring Vikrant Massey. I see it as a benefit, even if some people still refer to me as a South actor because of my big fan base and influence there. Since I still work in the South and haven't given up on it, I can negotiate both the North and South industries. More of my South Korean films are getting hindi dubbing, which exposes viewers to South Korean actors making their way into the hindi cinema industry. Though it could take some time, I think this difference will eventually disappear."

She further said, "Since Yodha was my return movie in hindi and my face might not be as recognisable, I wasn't sure whether people would remember me while I was advertising the movie. I was pleasantly pleased, though, when we went to a lot of institutions and everyone kept calling my name. I knew then that they were in fact familiar with me. Since people already know me, recognition isn't a problem in the South, but it was unexpected in the North. Even college kids knew who I was, which was a terrific experience, but I still had my worries. They could have seen Farzi. Any doubts I had were cleared up.
