After an active monsoon season, hyderabad is expected to see average to above-normal rainfall in August. It is predicted by meteorologists that the rains in late august will be very heavy. "Excessive rains are predicted primarily from mid-August," meteorologist balaji Tarini stated. The first week of august is anticipated to have light drizzles or rain, but as the month goes on, heavy downpours are predicted.

The city has received 282.4 mm of rain so far, which is a little more than the average of 280.7 mm. According to data from the telangana State Development Planning Society, there was "large excess" rainfall during the first two weeks of june and "excess" precipitation during the last week of the month. Nonetheless, mid-July and the latter week of July had significant deficiencies in rainfall, with neither excessive nor significant surplus showers.


According to the rainfall report available on telangana Development Planning Society’s website, the actual average rainfall of the district was measured to be 49.5 mm of rainfall. Bejjur mandal received the highest rainfall of 100 mm, followed by Koutala mandal, which had 84.4 mm. While Chintalamanepalli mandal saw 83.7 mm of rainfall, Sirpur (T) mandal experienced 76.4 mm of rainfall.
