Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) is about to launch two new bus categories. Metro Deluxe buses will run within cities, while Semi Deluxe buses will travel between larger cities. The services will shortly begin since several buses have already arrived at bus depots.

The number of passengers under the "Mahalakshmi" plan has increased significantly, however, because express and city regular buses carry free tickets for women, the RTC's ticket income has decreased.

It has been discovered that the government is unable to promptly refund the entire sum. Approximately Rs 610 crore remain in outstanding debts that need to be paid to the rtc for ticket sales. The rtc is going to provide new category bus services in order to boost income because this has grown to be a serious problem for the company.

Currently, the RTC's Palle Velugu, Express, Deluxe, Super Luxury, and Garuda buses generate a significant amount of income. The Express services are thought to be more profitable out of this.

The introduction of free travel on Express buses resulted in a half reduction in the corporation's direct income. Not even the Deluxe class buses are as well-liked. Their number is likewise notional as a result.

Between these two categories, rtc now intends to build a Semi-Deluxe category bus. The cost of the ticket will be 4 percent less than that of the Deluxe bus and 5 to 6 percent more than that of the Express bus. Better seats than on other buses will also be available.

Express buses will now be sent along routes where there is a demand for them. Men are finding it more difficult to get seats in buses due to the rise in the number of women traveling for free.

RTC officials discovered recently that about 20% of males are moving to different types of automobiles. Some of the passengers travelling in other vehicles are probably going to ride in Semi-Deluxe buses because they have fewer stops than the Express buses.

Formerly, the city used Metro Deluxe category buses, but as they became older, they were phased out. They are currently being fixed. women will need to purchase tickets for Metro Deluxe buses if the new category buses are implemented, which would generate revenue for the RTC.
