Pawan kalyan went through a difficult period in the early 2010s with hits like Puli, Panjaa, and Teen Maar. Seeing their hero fail to produce a hit song demoralised his admirers. Next was Harish Shankar's gabbar singh, a reimagining of salman Khan's Dabanng. The film was an enormous hit, celebrating Pawan Kalyan's amazing return and providing his fans great happiness.
Ravi Teja is in a similar predicament right now. Only krack and Dhamaka, his past 11 films, have been box office successes. He will now feature in Mr. Bachchan, a Harish Shankar-directed film that is a reimagining of ajay Devgn's 2018 movie Raid. ravi teja believes that Mr. Bachchan would play gabbar singh in his film. Nonetheless, the two cases differ greatly from one another.

Within two years of the original Dabanng, gabbar singh was released, a time when remakes were more popular and the audience's tastes had not altered significantly. Mr. Bachchan, on the other hand, is releasing six years after Raid. Over this period, the tastes of the audience have changed dramatically, and with the emergence of OTT platforms in the post-Covid age, remakes have become less popular. Numerous failures, such as Bholaa Shankar, Godfather, Hunt, and others, have been shown in TFI. It remains to be seen if Mr. Bachchan would follow in Gabbar Singh's footsteps or give in to the changing preferences of the public.
