The two-time world boxing champion Nikhat Zareen, the indian fast bowler mohammed siraj, and shooter Esha Singh will each receive 600 square yards of home plots in hyderabad from the telangana government. In recognition of mohammed siraj and Nikhat Zareen's achievements in their respective sports, the government will also award them Group-1 positions.

On Thursday, July 31, the news was made during a cabinet meeting. revanth reddy, the chief minister, emphasised Siraj's role in the indian cricket team's triumph in the t20 World Cup.

Reddy acknowledged Siraj's accomplishments and underlined that his exploits have greatly elevated the state and the nation. He claimed that if Siraj decides to join the police force, the state government would give him a Group-1 post, giving him immediate admission into positions of authority like deputy superintendent of police (DSP).

In addition, the chief minister attacked the former BRS administration for not hiring boxer Nikhat Zareen into the state government in spite of her outstanding accomplishments, which included winning two gold medals at world championships in 2022 and 2023.

Nikhat Zareen, a resident of Nizamabad, lost to Asian Games gold winner Wu Yu 0–5, demonstrating one of the biggest surprises of the Olympic boxing tournament. Wu Yu outclassed Zareen in a remarkably lopsided match held here on Thursday.

Since the international Boxing Association (IBA), which oversees the world championship, is not recognised by the international Olympic Committee (IOC), which is organising the boxing sport, Nikhat was not seeded for the Games.
