This week marks the release of two highly anticipated films: ajay Devgn's Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha and Janhvi Kapoor's Ulajh. Both films are predicted to debut to catastrophic numbers, even if prominent celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, ajay Devgn, Tabu, Neeraj Pandey, and gulshan devaiah are involved. 

The number of advance bookings is so low that none of the trade sites are disclosing it. There are reports that not a single ticket has been sold at several multiplexes around the nation. In order to stop the negative publicity around these films, it has been decided not to release the figures.

In an attempt to draw some people into theatres, the PVR-INOX network of multiplexes is re-releasing classic comedic successes including raja Babu, Masti, Golmaal, and Golmaal Returns from august 2 to august 14 at a discounted ticket price of Rs. 112. Nonetheless, it is anticipated that stree 2, Khel Khel Mein, Vedaa, and Double iSmart, which are all releasing on august 15 to capitalise on the Independence Day vacation season, would cause the box office to soar once again. A combination of thrillers, horror-comedies, and action-packed entertainment are on the schedule, with the goal of drawing big audiences and reviving the box office.
