In response to rumors that telugu actress Sreeleela left the comedy starring varun dhawan, producer Ramesh Taurani said. Sreeleela was never intended to be a part of the David Dhawan-directed movie, according to Taurani in a statement to News18. He continued by saying that while the film's first timeline has already been completed, the casting of the female lead has not yet been completed.

"We haven't contacted anyone about the position yet. We are now working on casting the role. The first schedule is almost finished, and as soon as we lock someone down for that position, we will formally announce it. We ask viewers not to accept any rumors till then, stated Ramesh Taurani.

"We were just considering her for the role," the producer continued in an interview with ETimes. There were reports circulating that Sreeleela was paired with varun dhawan in the movie. It was reported that the movie will be her bollywood debut. But this week, rumours started to circulate that she left the movie. Earlier last summer, word spread that varun and David were working together for the third time. It was announced in July that the movie's initial schedule had started.
