The andhra pradesh government commissioned specialists from IIT hyderabad to evaluate the stability of the unfinished public representatives', officials', and employees' quarters during the process of resuming building of Amaravati. The IIT hyderabad expert team came to amaravati today to assess the stability and condition of these unfinished buildings.
 
Professors Subrahmanyam and Munawar Basha told the media that additional time would be needed to ascertain the stability and effectiveness of these institutions. They declared that an assessment of the structures' existing status, the effects of standing rain, and the quality of the building components were all necessary.
 

The instructors promised that when their review was over, a thorough report would be sent to the authorities. They said they would send the report as quickly as possible, but they were unable to give a timeframe. Following jagan Mohan Reddy's 2019 election to power, all amaravati projects were put on hold for a five-year term. As a result, the government suffered losses in the crores and several of the structures collapsed. chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has resurrected the capital city project and pledged to see it through to completion as soon as possible after retaking office in 2024.
