Reunited for the much anticipated sequel to the smash success film ismart shankar is ram pothineni with director puri Jagannadh. Five years after its predecessor, Double Ismart, the new film, will open in theatres on august 15. There are certain expectations for this sequel because of the popularity of the first one.
 
But there is already a lot of debate around the movie. According to rumours, puri Jagannadh's losses from his last movie, Liger, are the reason he is having problems with distributors. Meanwhile, the crew has declared that on august 4, the Double Ismart trailer would be shown. The pre-release event is being planned by the film crew and will take place shortly after the trailer debut in Vizag.

Prabhas, the popular actor from India, is rumoured to be the featured guest at this function. prabhas and puri jagannadh have a close connection because they worked together on films such as ek niranjan and Bujjigadu. puri was the one who turned prabhas into a fan favourite and greatly contributed to the rise of Prabhas' career. prabhas has already given Puri's ventures his backing. Though nothing is official as of yet, there are rumours that prabhas would show his support for Double Ismart by showing up at the pre-release event.
