Authorities have ordered the closure of the facility where a software engineer was gangly raped by two individuals, one of whom was her childhood acquaintance. According to the sub-divisional magistrate of Kandukur, Rangareddy district, Srirastu bommarillu Bar Restaurant & Hotel in Omkar nagar near Bairamalguda, Hyderabad, has been ordered to close.
 

The action is a result of a joint complaint filed by Commissioner of police Sudheer Babu and the Station house Officer of Vanasthalipuram. The complaint alleges that the public was inconvenienced by the encouragement of illegal activities and the indiscriminate admission of people who consume alcohol and spend the night in the rooms.
 
The Srirastu bommarillu Bar Restaurant & Hotel in Omkar nagar made headlines lately after a female software engineer claimed that her buddies had gangraped her. The victim and the two accused had both drunk alcohol from the hotel's bar when the event reportedly occurred in one of the rooms.
 
On Monday, July 29, a 24-year-old software engineer in Omkar nagar, close to Vanasthalipuram, was gang raped by two people, one of whom was her childhood friend. Assistant Commissioner of police (ACP) Palle kasi reddy of the Vanasthalipuram division stated that following her employment, the victim had a party at Sri bommarillu Bar and Restaurant. Following the celebration, the victim—who was allegedly intoxicated at the time—went downstairs to a room in the same building with her childhood friend gautham Reddy and a mutual acquaintance. The victim said in her police complaint that they had sexually assaulted her group there.
