The third song from Vijay's forthcoming film The GOAT, Spark, was released today. Vijay and Meenakshi Chaudhary can be seen dancing together in the song. But Yuvan shankar Raja's music left the crowd feeling quite let down. The third song was far worse than the first two, which were only passable.

Even worse, Vijay's appearance in the song appeared strange and unsatisfactory. One of Vijay's characters in the movie gets the newest de-aging technology, but as the song Spark illustrates, it doesn't work out very well. It gives Vijay a caricatured and inadvertently humorous appearance.

This is another misuse of the de-aging process, after Acharya, where Chiru's younger version was terrible. Supporters would have preferred if the team had employed cosmetics rather than this disastrous de-aging method. Hardcore fans' disapproval of Vijay's appearance or the music in the movie suggests that something is seriously wrong.

Some people claim that The GOAT is Vijay's weakest album to date. They are blaming director Venkat Prabhu for permitting this look and music director Yuvan for such bland songs. Supporters have requested that this Spark song be removed from the movie since it will just slow down the plot and encourage needless trolling. The last movie in which Vijay had a strong soundtrack and looked his finest was master of lokesh Kanagaraj.
