Australia has won 13 gold medals out of a possible 32, placing them third. In addition, they have won eight bronze and eleven silver medals.


France, the hosts, had 12 gold, 15 silver, and 18 bronze medals, placing them in fourth position. They want to surpass their previous best performances, having won 45 medals thus far.
