There are 31 unidentified dead bodies and 158 spare body parts. 189 of these were buried at once. All religions offered prayers on this occasion.
 Arrangements were made to bury at least 7 dead bodies in one cent plot. At the same time, local media reported that 28 more bodies were recovered from the Chaliyar River, bringing the death toll in the disaster to 385. Officials said that a total of 75 dead bodies and 142 body parts have been found in the river so far.
