Naga chaitanya and sobhita dhulipala are finally engaged. The couple exchanged rings on Thursday, august 8 morning. Hours after their engagement, superstar nagarjuna took to his X handle to share the first official photos of the couple. He congratulated the couple and welcomed Sobhita to the family.

“We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, naga chaitanya, to sobhita dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. god bless!”A beginning of infinite love,” nagarjuna wrote.

Naga chaitanya was previously married to samantha Ruth Prabhu. They dated for a few years before tying the knot in 2017. However, the two announced their separation in october 2021 i.e. after four years of their marriage. Back then, they had issued a statement asking fans and followers for privacy as they ‘move on’.

In february this year, samantha recalled her separation from naga Chaitanya. Even though the actress did not name her former husband, she said that the year before myositis was “extremely difficult”.

“I remember specifically the year before I had this problem, it was an extremely difficult year for me. I specifically remember the day that I think my friend/partner/manager Himank, and I were traveling back from Mumbai. And this was in june of the year before last, and I remember telling him that finally I feel calm. I haven’t felt a little relaxed and a little calm in a very, very long time. And I finally feel like I can breathe and I can go to sleep, and I can now wake up and focus on my work and be the best that I can be at work. And I woke up with this condition,” samantha said.
