Himachal will move ahead in the field of solar energy!!!

The demand for electricity in himachal pradesh as well as other states is continuously increasing. In such a situation, the Himachal government is now moving fast in the direction of solar energy as well. chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu held a meeting with senior officials of the Energy Department at the State secretariat in shimla on Wednesday.


Chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the people of Himachal are also being encouraged in the field of solar energy production, so that the people of the state can get livelihood from these projects. The chief minister said that this project will be given to bonafide Himachalis and people will be encouraged to set up solar energy projects.
Target to make Himachal a green energy state


Chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the target is to make the state a green energy state by march 31 in the year 2026. Himachal is also moving fast in this direction. The chief minister said that along with hydropower, energy should also be used as much as possible. chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that this can reduce carbon emission and reduce dependence on fossil fuel.


Five megawatt solar power projects under construction
Chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that a 32 megawatt solar power project has been set up in Pekhubela of Una district. Solar power projects of 10 megawatts are under construction in Kutlehar assembly constituency and five megawatts in Gagret assembly constituency. himachal pradesh will accelerate the exploitation of about 50 megawatts of solar energy in the coming six months. He directed the officials to expedite the work of solar power projects and complete them on time and also identify places for new projects
