With "Kalki 2898 AD," prabhas achieved his first worldwide success since Baahubali. Trade analysts believe that the movie made over 1000 crores globally, however the producer's number is closer to 970 crores. "Kalki 2898 AD," albeit an ok movie with a boring first half and an interesting second half with a strong conclusion, did very well in most regions, with the exception of Andhra Pradesh.

"Kalki 2898 AD" is a huge hit in the hindi market and a box office success in the US. prabhas, however, narrowly missed two significant benchmarks in these domains. Before it was discontinued, "Kalki 2898 AD" brought in about $18 million in North America. It seemed at one time like it may make over $20 million, which would have made it only the second indian picture to do so, behind the record-breaking $20.5 million of "Baahubali 2."

"Kalki 2898 AD" nearly reached this milestone, but it fell short. But as of right moment, prabhas is the highest-grossing indian film in North America. The movie was a huge hit in the hindi market, earning over 275 crore net in North India. "Kalki 2898 AD" (Hindi) has crossed the 276 crore net mark and is predicted to end at approximately 280 crore net, making it the highest-grossing South indian film dubbed in hindi that is not a sequel.

After the first week, this appeared unfeasible because of the decline in mass circuit contributions and the weaker trend than "RRR." With a net worth of around 275 crore, "RRR" was the highest-grossing non-sequel South indian film till now, but "Kalki 2898 AD" has eclipsed it. The larger South indian movies, such as "KGF 2" and "Baahubali: The Conclusion," were sequels, which have a considerable advantage because of their existing fan bases. The movie's indian theatre run is almost up, though, so it doesn't look likely to cross the 300 crore milestone. prabhas therefore fails to reach two important landmarks with this film.
