Bangladeshi national arrested from lucknow airport…


A Bangladeshi national has been arrested from lucknow airport. He has been nabbed from the immigration counter of Terminal 3. The arrested accused was living in West bengal with fake documents. He was going to go directly from lucknow to Bangkok. He had got a fake passport made in the name of ashish Rai. During interrogation, he has told his name as Shimul Barua.


Immigration officials have handed him over to Sarojini nagar police. At present, Sarojini nagar police is investigating after registering a case. In this regard, it was told that on august 9, 2024, during the clearance of flight number FD-147 at the departure immigration counter at Chaudhary charan singh International airport (Lucknow) Terminal 3, the passenger presented aadhar card and other documents in which his name was found to be ashish Rai, father's name Baidyanath Rai, police station Singur, Hooghly, West Bengal. When the departure counter officer questioned the passenger, it was found that the passenger was from Bangladesh.

It was told that the name of the arrested Bangladeshi man is Shimul Barua, father's name Sukandu, who is from Bangladesh. During interrogation, he told that he got an indian passport and aadhar card made in West bengal through fake documents. He came to the immigration counter on 9 august on a tourist visa to go from lucknow to bangkok (Thailand).

The police has arrested the accused in this case and registered a case against him under relevant sections and has started investigation. The arrest of a Bangladeshi citizen amidst the ongoing protests in bangladesh is a big thing. Anger is brewing against bangladesh among the people across the country in protest against the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. Hindu organizations are demanding the intervention of the indian government.
