Mukesh Khanna encourages ajay devgn and Shah Rukh Khan

Veteran actor mukesh Khanna, known for his hit roles in 'Shaktiman' and 'Mahabharat', has slammed bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and ajay Devgan for endorsing Pan masala products. . In a recent interview, Khanna asked actors to stop promoting pan masala and gaming shows through what he termed as misleading advertisements.
Speaking to bollywood Bubble, Khanna didn't hold back and expressed her dismay at the choice of stars: "If you ask me, I would say inko pakad ke maarna chaahiye (catch them and beat).I have told them this.I have blamed Akshay Kumar. He used to be a healthy thinker who says "normal", as ajay Devgan says "normal" now Shah Rukh Khan follows the same path. Billions of rupees have been spent to make these posters. And what do you teach people? (They say) We don't sell pan masala, they say superi. But they know what they're doing."

Khanna also talked about the negative effects of alternative advertising on people, especially the youth: “When you do a Kingfisher ad, it means you are selling Kingfisher beer. As everyone knows, it is called misleading advertising. What are these ads? No money? That's what I tell them, don't do these things, you have a lot of money. A few actors have also discovered it, Akshay being one of them. If I am not mistaken, amitabh bachchan has also moved on. But till today billions of rupees have been spent in doing these trades... people smear each other with paint (and say) kesaria jaban (saffron tongue). You teach people to eat gutka! Don't do it!” he explained.
When asked if he had ever been asked to do such an ad, Khanna replied, "I have never done an ad for things like cigarettes and pan masala in my life. Yes, I will." send mota paisa hota hai (a lot of money will be given to you). It's an offer, but these things are bad and I can't promote them. And I am asking all these famous actors, "Sir, people are watching you, imitating you, don't act". You've made a name for yourself, people say, "If they can do it, we can do it."
