38 thousand cusecs of water drained out by opening 7 gates!!!

Heavy rains have been continuing in eastern rajasthan for several days. Rivers and streams are overflowing due to rain water. Water inflow has increased in Panchana dam of Karauli district. About 38 thousand cusecs of water has been released from Panchana dam in Gambhiri river.
The administration had to open 7 gates to drain out the water. The water released from Panchana dam into Gambhiri river is moving towards Bharatpur. In view of the danger, the administration has issued an alert in rural areas. people are being made aware by sending Patwari, Girdavar, Anganwadi workers.


The administration team is appealing not to go to the waterlogged area. Instructions have been given not to send animals also. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for five days. The administration is also in alert mode in view of the water draining from Panchana dam and rain. Today on Monday, Cooperative Secretary and district Incharge Secretary Suchi Tyagi reached Bharatpur. She inspected Sewla Head, Samogar Bridge and Gambhir River along with collector Dr. amit Yadav, district Superintendent of police Mridul Kachhwa, Additional collector City Shweta Yadav.


Collector arrived on tractor trolley to inspect the waterlogged area
Collector Dr. amit Yadav along with administrative officials went out on a tractor trolley to inspect the waterlogged area. A dozen colonies of Bharatpur have been flooded due to continuous rain. The administration team is trying to remove the water by installing pumps. The collector has ordered to keep an eye on the waterlogged area. UIT Secretary rishabh Mandal, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Richpal Singh Burdak, Additional collector Administration neeraj kumar Meena, Additional collector City Shweta Yadav, Assistant collector OP Meena, Municipal Corporation, UIT engineer are also inspecting the instructions of the collector. A dozen colonies have been flooded due to heavy rain. Now arrangements are being made to drain out water from the colonies.
