In the forthcoming movie Baby john, Keerthy suresh will star opposite varun dhawan in her bollywood film debut. The film is a remake of Theri, the 2016 release of the original tamil film. In the original film, samantha Ruth Prabhu was portrayed by Suresh. Keerthy then discussed taking on the role of the kushi star. In an interview with Galatta Plus, Keerthy suresh lauded Samantha's portrayal of Theri, calling it "effortless."

Samantha's part in Theri is really lovely, and she portrayed it so easily, Keerthy said when asked whether she was afraid to play the same role in a remake. Remaking a character is always unsettling, but Baby john has been done so brilliantly that I am not afraid.

The Bhola shankar actor was questioned later in the interview about whether Baby John's narrative and Theri's will be the same. The diva responded by stressing the eight-year interval that separated the two movies. She said that sufficient adjustments had been made about both time and space.

She also emphasized how tamil listeners' favorite entertainment facets varied greatly from those that the hindi public finds appealing. Furthermore, what truly worked in tamil need not always function in hindi, the speaker added. Thus, such modifications have also been made.

Keerthy suresh was questioned about her own career and film choices at the end of the interview, including whether or not she thought it was wise to select specific parts early in her career.

In response, the actress said that at first, it seems acceptable for a celebrity to take any opportunity to showcase their abilities. However, she's come to understand that she must be extremely picky about the assignments she takes on.

Keerthy went on to say that as long as the role is compelling, she doesn't mind having less screen time in a film. She said that now is the ideal moment for her to try out all kinds of personas.
