Police Commissioner Vikas will get President's Medal!!!


Gurugram police Commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora has been announced to be awarded the President's Medal for Distinguished Service. The medals were announced by the home Ministry on the eve of Independence Day. The list also includes the names of 11 other police officers and employees from Haryana.

IPS Vikas Kumar Arora is excited to be selected for the President's Medal. He said that he was very happy to hear the news. He said, "In the police service, I always keep my duty and purpose in mind."


Let us tell you that Vikas Kumar Arora is a 1998 batch IPS officer. In august last year, Vikas Kumar Arora was made the police Commissioner of Gurugram. Before being appointed to the post of Gurugram police Commissioner, Vikas Kumar Arora has efficiently discharged responsibilities in many districts of Haryana. Vikas Kumar Arora has also been the police Commissioner of Faridabad. Between 2010 and 2011, he has also held the responsibility of Deputy Commissioner of police (East) in Gurugram.

As faridabad police Commissioner, IPS Vikas Kumar Arora played an important role in cracking down on online fraud cases. faridabad police arrested hundreds of people from across the country on charges of online fraud between september 2021 and august last year. Vikas Kumar Arora has also served as Inspector General of police (IGP) South Range (Rewari) from 2020 to 2021. According to the home Ministry list, others selected for the President's Medal for police Service from haryana include IPS deepak Saharan, Kamal Deep Goyal, Surinder Singh Bhoria, Vijay Pratap, Deepak, DSP sandeep Kumar, Inspector Anil Kumar, Om Prakash, Sub Inspector ram Niwas, Santosh and ASI Mahendra Singh.
