Following her formal announcement, the internet has been a hive of rumors and conjecture over bollywood actress deepika Padukone's pregnancy. While some speculated that she chose surrogacy, some even went so far as to say her baby bump is phony, a subject that has sparked rumors on social media.

And now, further controversy has been sparked by a video that features New Delhi-based IVF specialist Dr. Gauri Agarwal. In the video, Dr. Agarwal says, "That can be an artificial baby bump," about the persistent speculations about Deepika's pregnancy, in an interview with journalist Shubhankar Mishra. Anything might be the cause.

Social media users and other medical professionals have taken offense at the doctor's comments, denouncing her as "insensitive" and invading someone's privacy.

Actress mini Mathur, who is married to Kabir Khan, is one of the people who had a strong reaction to the video. Using an instagram video, she vented her wrath, calling the discussion "absolutely disgusting" and branding the doctor and host as "shameless" for encouraging such "misogynistic loose talk."

"This is an incredibly repulsive conversation," she declared. A sleazy "doctor" and a vicarious gossipy presenter who sit and hold court over people's lives while propagating loose talk that is sexist. ugh. Can I get this bloody reel off my eyes?

Other instagram users, including many doctors, echoed her sentiments. One user wrote, “Unprofessional and insensitive!!!” while another commented, “Unbelievable for a female doctor to speak like this on someone’s motherhood and fatherhood.”

In addition to casting doubt on the doctor's professional ethics, the controversy has rekindled discussions about the propriety of discussing personal problems in public and the breach of privacy of celebrities.
