Suriya's film Kanguva has a trailer that was published yesterday. After the failure of Annaatthe, Siruthai Siva, the film's director, hopes to improve his standing. The teaser teases a grand narrative with plenty of action. It also boasts some stunning graphics. The competing tribal elders played by Suriya and bobby deol suit the contemporary action movie themes rather nicely.

There are a few problems with the trailer, though. It appears to blend several myths and stories without providing a clear explanation of the story. bobby Deol's dubbing isn't very good, and he still seems to be in the "Animal" mood. Concerns exist over the film's setting as well. The producer has stated that the most of the film is set in contemporary Goa, with the historical period only receiving brief attention in the teaser. Furthermore, the video omits a glimpse of Disha Patani, who portrays the primary female character, creating doubts about whether her part fits into the modern environment.

Viewers who might be anticipating a full-length historical period drama could become confused by the trailer. Before the movie's release, the creators have to take care of these concerns and guarantee that the real setting and plot are understood. There is still time to address these issues and appropriately manage expectations.
