Deputy cm Vijay Sharma hoisted the flag!!!


On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day celebrations in Bastar, chhattisgarh deputy chief minister Vijay Sharma hoisted the flag and took the salute of the parade at the historic Lal Bagh ground in Jagdalpur. On this occasion, during his address to the public, he gave information about the achievements and schemes of the government. deputy chief minister Vijay Sharma mentioned the development work done by the bjp government in the tribal areas of Bastar. Also, the participants who participated in the cultural program to be held on the occasion of Independence Day were rewarded.


Three layers of security for Deputy CM

Apart from this, the officers and employees who performed their duties in a better way in the lok sabha elections and conducted the elections peacefully were also rewarded. After this, deputy chief minister Vijay Sharma also met the families of the martyred soldiers in the Naxalite incident.

Bastar being a sensitive area, in view of the visit of the deputy cm, a large number of soldiers were deployed with three layers of security around the ground. A large number of school students and common people including the city's dignitaries participated in the Independence Day program.


Appeal for peace talks with Maoists

After the flag hoisting, in a discussion with the media, deputy chief minister Vijay Sharma once again appealed for peace talks with the Maoists. He said that Bastar is changing rapidly and the proof of this is that the child whose parents were killed by the Naxalites is hoisting the flag. deputy cm Vijay Sharma said, "The person who lost his legs in an IED blast is hoisting the flag. In Naxal-affected areas, the mindset of the people is changing rapidly regarding the damage caused by Naxalism."
