A case of theft has come to light at the residence of congress MLA Jaivardhan Singh in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. The thieves escaped with 12 thousand rupees from the cupboard. The police is investigating the matter on the basis of CCTV footage. Habibganj police station in-charge ajay Soni gave information about the case on thursday (August 15). The station in-charge said that on august 13, information was received about the theft incident at the residence of former minister Jaivardhan Singh. The police reached the spot and checked the staff room there, in which the lock of the room was found broken. The items in the cupboard and briefcase were lying in disarray, it was tampered with for the purpose of searching something.

He told that we were informed that there were 12 thousand rupees in the briefcase, which were stolen. There were also some important documents there, which the thieves did not take with them. Prima facie it seems to be a case of theft. We called the forensic department on the spot and they took scientific evidence.


They are being taken into custody for interrogation

According to the information, Jaivardhan Singh's government bungalow is located in Char Imli area, just 100 meters away from the cbi office. Many senior officials including ministers also live here. This is one of the VVIP areas of the city. Despite this, the thieves broke the security circle and committed the crime.
