On July 4th, amar Kaushik's much-anticipated follow-up to the smash horror-comedy stree opened in theaters. According to Sacnilk.com, the film, which starred Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, abhishek Banerjee, and pankaj tripathi in the key roles, is believed to have grossed ₹54.35 crore on its opening day in India.
 
The publication reports that stree 2 made ₹8 crore during its special opening day on Wednesday. The movie earned about ₹46 crore on its first day of release, bringing its total earnings to an approximated ₹54.25 crore. This surpasses both fighter and kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) to become the highest opening day grosser of 2024. Considering it took six days for stree to earn ₹ 54.88 Cr net in India, these statistics are record openers. On its first day of release in hindi, the movie earned a 75.09% occupancy rate. With ₹65.5 crore from Jawan and ₹55 crore from Pathaan, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, stree 2 also records the greatest opening for a hindi film ever.
 
Rajkummar and Shraddha return to their old roles in Amar's film stree 2. In the movie, the residents of Chanderi are terrorized by Sarkata, and they turn to stree for assistance. The producers have carefully kept a number of the movie's star-studded appearances under wraps. Resuming his role as Bhediya, varun dhawan even appears in a song alongside Shraddha.
