Following the untimely demise of a medical intern at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical college and Hospital, bollywood has witnessed a surge of support from a number of celebrities, including alia bhatt, Vijay Varma, sara Ali Khan, Suhana Khan, and Soni Razdan. Numerous celebrities have taken to social media to demand justice in response to the tragedy, which has prompted global indignation. Among the most outspoken is genelia D'Souza, who has intensified the fight for justice by advocating for the death penalty for those accountable for this horrible act.

The actress took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to express her outrage, writing, “Monsters need to be hanged!!! Just reading what the victim went through sent chills up my spine. A woman, a lifesaver who was on duty faced this horror in the seminar hall. My heart goes out to the family and her loved ones – can’t even imagine how they are facing this tragedy.

Additionally, genelia D'Souza sent an image of a post with the text, "Imagine your legs being pulled apart so forcefully that your pelvis breaks."Your jaw is choked till it bleeds. Your glasses are pressed firmly against your eyes.Imagine that while you were only trying to save the life of another person, all of this was happening to you. This is not a terrifying tale. It is RG Kar Medical College's second-year postgraduate program in chest medicine. This is no longer about physicians. It concerns mankind, if any remains.Don't let this die; speak up!
