Arshad Nadeem, an Olympian from Pakistan, recently got a unique and significant present from his father-in-law, Muhammad Nawaz: a buffalo. He received this gift from his father-in-law in recognition of his outstanding performance in the javelin throw competition at the olympics in paris when he broke the previous record with a throw of 92.97 meters. Giving a buffalo as a gift is valued and respected in his society. According to Nawaz, the present symbolizes both Nadeem's strong links to his rural origins and the community's long-standing customs.

But the public's attention has been drawn to a humorous moment in an interview with a Pakistani journalist. Nadeem joked about the present with his wife, Ayesha, throughout their conversation. "She told me, I said buffalo?" he laughed. I would have like five or six acres of land, but Buffalo would do just nicely. He gave a buffalo and is extremely wealthy by God's mercy."

The journalist laughed at Nadeem's lighthearted reply, and the video has now gone viral. Nawaz, who resides in a hamlet with his four sons and three daughters, reportedly revealed that he gave Nadeem the buffalo as a sign of respect and custom. Nadeem still resides in Khanewal, Punjab, with his parents and brothers despite his widespread notoriety. Nadeem and Ayesha are parents to three children: a girl and two sons.
