Gang of thieves busted in Bhopal, 2 arrested…
The accused who stole from congress mla and former minister Jaivardhan Singh's bungalow in Char Imli area have been arrested by Habibganj police. police have arrested two accused, while one is still absconding. During interrogation, both the accused have confessed to about a dozen thefts. Out of the 15 thousand rupees stolen from the accused, 10 thousand rupees in cash have been recovered and goods worth two lakh rupees have also been seized. According to the police, ashish Bundela, a resident of ravishankar nagar, had given a complaint application and told that he is a staff of the bungalow located in Char Imli. This bungalow belongs to mla Jaivardhan Singh. He comes here sometimes. The rest of the time the staff present here takes care of it.
Theft happened on the night of 12 August
On the night of 12 August, ashish Bundela and other staff had locked the bungalow and went to their home. When ashish reached the next morning, he found the lock of one of the rooms of the bungalow broken. The briefcase was also missing from the room. It had Rs 15,000 in cash. On Bundela's complaint, Habibganj police station had registered a case of theft.
police searched CCTV footage
After the complaint, the police came on alert mode and searched CCTV footage. On the basis of the footage, the police detained the suspect Ankit Gujre and questioned him. During interrogation, he accepted to have carried out the crime along with his two accomplices deepak Mandal and Vijay Dindoria. On the information given by accused Ankit Gujre, resident of balaji nagar Neelbad, the police detained his another accomplice deepak Mandal, resident of Vishwakarma nagar Habibganj. The police have also seized laptops, jewellery and Rs 10,000 stolen from mla Jaivardhan Singh's bungalow from the accused
