Medical minister visits hospitals amid doctors' strike…


Doctors in rajasthan are on strike against the rape and murder of a junior doctor at RG Kar Medical college in Kolkata. Amidst the doctors' strike, the state's Medical and health minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar visited SMS Hospital and the government Satellite Hospital located in Sethi Colony. Medical and health minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar inspected emergency services, IPD and OPD and saw the condition of medical services and gave necessary guidelines to the medical officers.


Medical minister gave instructions to the officers

After this, minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar visited Sawai Mansingh Hospital at 8.30 am. He first reached the emergency unit and took stock of the health services. Gajendra Singh Khinvsar talked to the patients and got information about the availability of health services. During this, Medical and health minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar instructed the doctors and nursing staff to provide immediate treatment to the patients coming to the hospital, so that no patient has to face trouble for examination and treatment.


Know the condition of health services from the patients

The Medical minister also inspected the IPD services by visiting the general ward. After meeting the patients, Gajendra Singh Khinvsar asked if they are facing any difficulty in getting treatment due to the boycott of doctors' work. The patients told that they have got the facility of proper examination and treatment even during the strike of doctors on saturday (17 August). The Medical minister has also reviewed the registration counter and other medical facilities. health services were found to be smooth in the emergency unit, wards, ICU and other places in Sawai Mansingh Hospital. After this, the Medical minister reached the government Satellite Hospital located in Sethi Colony to inspect the medical facilities. He saw the condition of emergency services here and talked to the patients.
