Sisters tied Rakhi to prisoners lodged in Jail!!!
The festival of rakshabandhan was celebrated with great pomp in the Divisional Jail of Nawada. From the morning itself, the sisters started arriving to tie Rakhi to their brothers lodged in the Divisional Jail. Special arrangements were made by the jail administration regarding the rakshabandhan festival. Jail Superintendent Ajit Kumar said that the prisoners were taken out of the ward from 7:00 am itself, so that as soon as their sisters come, they can tie Rakhi to their brothers one by one.

Special food was arranged for the prisoners by the jail administration, so that the prisoners do not miss their family much on the occasion of the festival. On rakshabandhan, a crowd of sisters gathered from the morning to tie a thread of affection on the wrists of the imprisoned brothers. Sisters started coming to the district jail from seven in the morning itself. Apart from online, meeting slips were also put up. The brothers imprisoned in the jail looked very happy to see their sisters with a thaal of Rakhi.
Additional police force deployed for the arrangements
The district jail administration had deployed additional police force as well as prison guards for the arrangements during the meeting, so that the sisters who came for the meeting do not face any kind of problem. Most of the prisoners are from other districts, due to which the process of women coming to meet the imprisoned brothers started from the morning. Most of them had to return home in the afternoon. The administration had made arrangements to make the sisters meet early. Sisters were not allowed to take sweets and cooked food to the jails. Only petha, fruits and packaged items were allowed to be taken.
