The matter escalated so much that those drunkards beat up the forest ranger and the beat officer present with him with kicks and punches. Due to which the forest ranger was seriously injured. He is undergoing treatment.

At present, according to the information received in this case, these accused youths have been arrested by the forest department under the Forest Act and they have been sent to jail. At the same time, an FIR has been registered against these accused youths in the concerned police station in the case of assault on the forest guard, and a case is being registered against them under serious sections.

He said that this incident is from De Chori Range of Ramnagar Forest Division, where some youths were drinking alcohol in the forest because there is already a danger of a wildfire in this area. So when our forest guard and forest inspector told these people not to drink alcohol here, these people beat up the forest inspector and the beat watcher present with him and escaped from there after beating them.

The miscreants were arrested and sent to jail

The miscreants were caught by the police at the forest barrier on Tedha Road and a case was registered against them and they were sent to jail.
