Eventually, these develop into blisters. Other symptoms include persistent fever, headache, and muscle aches. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that symptoms start to appear within 21 days of exposure to the monkey measles virus. The CDC states that a patient with a good immune system can recover even without any treatment. There is still no specific treatment for MPOX. However, the World health Organization (WHO) recommends giving the drug according to its symptoms, such as pain and fever.
