Samantha Ruth Prabhu, an actress, has declared her endorsement of SAWiT.AI, the largest Generative AI Learning Challenge exclusively for women worldwide. The event, which is slated for september 21, intends to provide 500,000 indian women with practical training using cutting-edge AI technologies, therefore empowering them with fundamental skills in generative AI. 500,000 indian women will acquire fundamental Gen AI skills on september 21 by working directly with cutting-edge AI technologies. In an instagram post, Prabhu said, "If you're as fascinated by tech as I am, then SAWiT.AI is the right place for you to build your skill and feed your curiosity."
Remarkably, generative AI was also used to create her commercial film. SAWiT.The goal of the SAWiT network's AI event is to equip female participants with useful knowledge about generative AI. The project aims to construct a worldwide story that shows indian women as pioneers in the application of AI technology for good. It is a joint venture between GUVI, an education technology company supported by IIT Madras, and SAWiT (South Asian women in Tech). Prabhu stressed in her statement that breaking down barriers and influencing the development of AI is the overarching objective and urged women who are interested in technology to participate. She also urged people to honor women who motivate others by conquering obstacles in their day-to-day existence.

Prabhu emphasized that the goal of SAWiT.AI is to transform the future, not only acquire technological abilities. With the help of this project, 500,000 indian women will be equipped to take the lead in the ongoing revolution in generative AI. To forward the vision of indian women leading the technological revolution, Prabhu called on others to join the cause. With the backing of a prestigious advisory committee that includes farzana Haque, a Senior leader at Tata Consultancy Services, and Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of HCL Tech and champion for women's empowerment, the program will offer practical experience with cutting-edge AI technologies.

The SAWiT.AI initiative comprises three main events:

• SAWiT.AI Learnathon (September 21, 2024): A hands-on learning experience in Generative AI.

• SAWiT.AI Hackathon (October 2024): The world’s largest women-led Generative AI challenge, where teams develop advanced AI applications.

• SAWiT.AI festival (November 2024): Celebrating Generative AI innovation, awarding challenge winners, and recognizing pioneering institutions, partners, and sponsors.

Women from both tech and non-tech backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Interested candidates can register at the SAWiT.AI registration page for a nominal fee of INR 499, with the deadline for registration set for september 18, 2024.
