Doctors' protest march in shimla against kolkata incident…

Doctors took out a protest march in shimla on tuesday against the barbaric incident in Kolkata. The march which started from indira gandhi Medical college reached the Secretariat. The delegation of doctors met chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in the Secretariat.

During the meeting, they raised the issue of security in the medical college. State Medical and Dental college teachers Association President Balveer Verma said that the crime committed against the trainee doctor in kolkata is unfortunate. He said that a demand has been made to the government to increase security in the medical college. The Medical and Dental college teachers Association is with the Chief Minister.

chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assured to consider the legitimate demands of the doctors sympathetically. teachers and trainee doctors of IGMC said that they had to wait to meet the Chief Minister. Trainee doctor abhishek Sharma protested against the kolkata incident. He said that the doctors demand that the State health Protection Act should be implemented effectively. The security system of all the hospitals in the state should be improved. abhishek Sharma said that the protest will continue till the Central health Protection Act is implemented and the trainee doctor of kolkata gets justice.

The doctors met the chief minister and raised the issue of security

Some OPDs will remain closed in the hospital one by one. The emergency ward will be run smoothly for the convenience of the people. It may be noted that doctors in himachal pradesh are also registering their protest against the kolkata incident. Apart from emergency services, other services have been closed. All the doctors are demanding justice for the daughter of Kolkata. Today, doctors registered their protest by taking out a march from indira gandhi Medical college to the Secretariat. It is worth mentioning that a horrific incident took place on 9th august in RG Kar Medical college of kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. The PG trainee female doctor was raped and murdered. The barbaric incident has shaken the entire country. The goons who came in the form of a mob entered the hospital and tried their best to destroy the evidence.
