But I assure every resident of delhi that we will not let any work stop.

He said that the people of delhi are getting a lot of benefit from Mohalla Clinics. In the last few years, more than 2 crore people have got treatment in all the Mohalla Clinics. Due to getting effective treatment, even the affluent people who usually go to expensive private hospitals are now getting treatment in Mohalla Clinics. Saurabh Bhardwaj said that a total of 545 Mohalla Clinics are operating in delhi, including 2 new ones.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that "We started building Mohalla Clinics in 2015-16, the purpose of which was to provide treatment for minor diseases like fever, cough, cold. This will avoid long queues in big hospitals. There are many big government and private hospitals in Delhi. Hospitals are always crowded, so we thought why not open 'small scale hospitals' in the form of Mohalla Clinics in every colony and ward of Delhi?" He further said that the first Mohalla Clinic was built in the slums of Pitampura. It received a lot of praise from the people and it showed great results. The people around this mohalla clinic were very happy because if they had any minor illness they would come here and get treatment for free.
