'RJD will support Bharat Bandh'
National Vice President of Rashtriya Janata Dal uday Narayan Chaudhary said in a press conference that we support the bandh and oppose the decision of the supreme Court. He said that the central government should take a decision on this immediately and we will support the Bharat Bandh that is tomorrow. Along with RJD, VIP has also supported this bandh. Apart from this, many other parties which have emerged from sc ST politics are also supporting the organizations doing Bharat Bandh. Let us tell you that various Dalit organizations across the country have called for a Bharat Bandh tomorrow i.e. on 21st august against the supreme Court's decision on the creamy layer in SC-ST reservation. The supreme court had said that the creamy layer should be kept out of the purview of SC/ST reservation, which has been opposed by the Reservation Bachao Sangharsh Samiti. On the other hand, regarding the Bharat Bandh, Union minister Jitan ram Manjhi has said that he will oppose it.

Manjhi clearly says that how will we support his bandh? Only those four castes have been getting the benefit of reservation till date. We have 18 castes. We are different. Separate us and those people who have been taking advantage of it till date are the ones protesting. We will definitely oppose this movement.
